This 17 day safari combines three pretty destinations in East Africa. The list includes Rwanda, with its volcanoes, Uganda, the pearl of Africa and Kenya, the main area to enjoy the annual great wildebeest migration.

Day 1: Arrival – City tour

On arrival you will be welcomed by our guide at Kigali International Airport. Pick up and transfer to Kigali for a city tour. You first check in at the hotel. Have lunch and later tour around. Visit the genocide memorial site and other allures in the city.

Day 2: Kigali – Volcanoes National Park

Early in the morning, you transfer to Volcanoes National Park for the morning briefing. After, you will start the gorilla trekking expedition. Once located, you spend one hour with the gorillas in the jungles. You see them as they feed, move around and more. Later, you return to the starting point and continue to your lodge.

Day 3: Volcanoes – Cross to Uganda – Queen

On this day, you check out to drive and cross to Uganda via the Cyanika border. You will continue up to Queen Elizabeth National Park. It is a long drive that is why we include stopover in Kisoro and other major towns for some refreshments. You reach the park in the evening. Check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Game drive – Boat cruise

On this day, you do another game drive in the morning to see more wild animals and other wildlife species. After lunch, you will enjoy a boat cruise on Kazinga channel in the afternoon to see more aquatic species like hippos, birds and more.

Day 5: Queen – Drive to Kibale

Early in the morning, you check out and transfer to Kibale forest National Park, the primate capital of Uganda. You reach in the time for lunch. Check in at the lodge for lunch. In the evening, you will do a nature walk in Bigodi wetland.

Day 6: Chimpanzee tracking

In the morning, you go to the starting point in Kanyanchu for the briefing. The responsible officer will brief you on how to behave while in the presence of the chimpanzees. After, you are assigned to a ranger guide and start the walk. You find the chimpanzees in the Jungle and see them as they carry out various activities. After the one hour experience, you return to the lodge for relaxation.

Day 7: Kibale – Drive to Murchison

On this day, you leave Kibale and continue to Murchison falls national Park. It is a 5 – 6 hours’ drive and you reach there in time for lunch. You have lunch and relax at the lodge. In the evening, you will do a game drive to see some wild animals.

Day 8: Game drive – Boat cruise

Early in the morning you do a game drive around the park to see some wild animals such as buffaloes, elephants, antelopes and more. You as well enjoy the pretty views of sunset. Return to the lodge for lunch. After, you do a boat cruise to see the aquatic life and riverside scenery.

Day 9: Visit top of the falls – Ziwa – Kampala

Check out at the lodge and you visit the top of the falls. After, you continue to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for the rhino tracking experience. You will have here lunch. After the tracking experience, you proceed to Kampala for an overnight.

Day 10: Kampala city tour

Early in the morning, you start a tour around the Kampala city. Visit numerous allures such as the Uganda museum, Namugongo shrines, Kasubi tombs, Bahai temple, Gadhafi mosque, monuments in Kampala and the local markets.

Day 11: Kampala – Drive to Jinja

On this day, you start the drive from Kampala to Jinja. The drive takes about 2 -3 hours depending on the traffic along the road. You reach there in time and have lunch. Later you do a boat cruise to the source of River Nile. You will also do bungee jumping.

Day 12: Jinja – Drive to Kisumu

Early in the morning you transfer from Jinja to Kisumu via the Busia border.  It is a 4 – 5 hour drive and lunch is provided enroute. You stay one night in Kisumu.

Day 13: Kisumu – Drive to Nairobi

Early morning, you drive from Kisumu to Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya. It has a lot to see. You visit some beautiful areas here and later check in at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 14: Nairobi – Drive to Maasai Mara

On this day, you leave Nairobi to Maasai mara national reserve, the main area to see the great annual wildebeest migration. You reach in time for lunch. In the evening, you do an evening game drive to spot some animals.

Day 15: Explore wildlife in Maasai Mara

You spend the all day in Maasai Mara seeing the animals, birds, and various beautiful creatures in the Park. Later you return to the lodge for relaxation and dinner.

Day 16: Maasai Mara – Drive back to Nairobi

You do another game drive in the morning and later check out to drive back to Nairobi. You have lunch and check in at your hotel in the city. The drive is about 4 – 5 hours and it is really amazing.

Day 17: Nairobi city tour – Drop off at Airport.

On this day, you do a short tour around the city. Visit numerous attractions within the capital. After, the driver will drop you off at the Airport for your return flight back home. If not that, we can leave you at the hotel. End of Safari in East Africa.
