On this amazing safari you will explore the wildlife, nature and culture in the eastern and northern part of Uganda. You visit parks like Kidepo valley national Park, Murchison falls and the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport
On arrival you will be welcomed and picked by our driver and company representative from Entebbe Airport. Transfer up to your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala for an overnight stay. You have dinner and relax as you get relieved of all the flight stresses.
Day 2: Entebbe – Drive to Jinja
Early in the morning after your breakfast you start the drive to Jinja. It takes about 2 – 3 hours and reaching there you will have lunch at the hotel. Later, you go for a boat cruise to the source of River Nile.
Day 3: White Water rafting in Jinja
In the morning, you go at the office headquarters of the rafting company for a short briefing. After, you continue to the starting point in Kalagala to enjoy the half day white water rafting on the waters of River Nile. It starts in the morning and end in the afternoon.
Day 4: Jinja – Drive to Sipi
After enjoying Jinja, you continue with the drive to Sipi falls in Kapchorwa district. The drive takes not less than three hours including a stopover in Mbale town to have lunch. You will reach Sipi in the evening. Check in at the lodge to relax.
Day 5: Full day hike Sipi falls & Coffee tour
Have breakfast and after meet your guide who is to lead you around as you hike the three cascading Sipi falls. You start in the morning and end in the afternoon. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the evening, you will do a coffee tour which involves visiting the coffee farm and description of how coffee is made from scratch until its ready for consumption. After, you return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Sipi – Drive to Moroto
On this day, you leave Sipi for a drive to Moroto. This drive is amazing, it includes a stopover in Nakapiripiriti to visit a certain village of the Karamojong for cultural encounters. Later, you continue with the drive to Moroto for an overnight stay.
Day 7: Moroto – Drive to Kaboong
Early in the morning, you check out for a continuous drive to Kaboong. You stopover in Kotido for lunch and a visit to the Nakaperimoru village to delve more into the culture and local life of the Karamajong people. Later, you continue to Kaboong for an overnight.
Day 8: Visit the villages & Ike people
You spend this day exploring more the culture of the Karamajong people and also visit the Ike people to know more about their way of living.
Day 9: Kaboong – Drive to Kidepo
Leave Kaboong in the morning and drive to Kidepo valley National Park. You will reach in the evening. Enter the park and do an evening game drive to see some wild animals before you check in at the lodge.
Day 10: Morning & Evening Game drive
Early morning, you will do the morning game drive to spot various wild animals like elephants, buffaloes, antelopes and more. You head back to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation. In the evening, you do another game drive for more sights of animals and birds.
Day 11: Kidepo – Drive to Gulu
In the morning, you check out and do a morning drive as you exit the park. Drive straight to Gulu for an overnight stay after a long drive. In the evening, you move around and see the beautiful streets in Gulu city.
Day 12: Gulu – Drive to Murchison Falls
On this day, you leave Gulu to continue with the ride to Murchison falls National Park. You enter the Park via Tangi gate to do an evening game drive. Later, you return to the lodge for dinner and a night stay.
Day 13: Morning game drive & Boat cruise
Early in the morning you do a game drive around the park to see some wild animals such as buffaloes, elephants, antelopes and more. You as well enjoy the pretty views of sunset. Return to the lodge for lunch. After, you do a boat cruise to see the aquatic life and riverside scenery.
Day 14: Visit top of the falls – Drive to Ziwa – Entebbe
Check out at the lodge and you visit the top of the falls. After, you continue to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for the rhino tracking experience. You will have here lunch. After the tracking experience, you proceed to Entebbe for an overnight.
Day 15: Explore Entebbe – Drop off at EBB
After breakfast, you explore what Entebbe has to offer. Visit the Zoo, Entebbe botanical gardens, beaches. After, drop off at the Airport for your return flight. End of Safari.
